  We're beyond excited to host another edition of the annual SURF party on Jan 17, 2026 at Lake Poway! We'd appreciate if you could RSVP no later than Jan 2nd, 2026.

  The SURF Annual Party is a chance for us to celebrate the previous years' achievements and honor our volunteers and members. Party raffle tickets will be awarded to all current members, TrailFit volunteers, race volunteers, and runners who participated in local race events throughout 2025. These tickets may then be exchanged for SURF merch and/or tickets for the race entry raffle - only at the event.

  Members: Please be sure to fill out the Volunteer Survey before Dec 31st to get your hard-earned raffle tickets!

  If you plan on bringing more than one guest, please note that a $20 fee will apply to cover the cost of their meal and attendance. Additional guests under 18 will be $10.

  All attendees who carpool or ride-share will receive an extra raffle ticket upon arrival. Raffle tickets will also be on sale for $10/ticket. Card only, NO CASH PLEASE!

  GEAR EXCHANGE (*NEW*): Bring your gently used or unused gear to the party for a gear exchange! All unclaimed gear will be donated.

  VOLUNTEERING:If you'd like to volunteer, please let us know when you fill out your registration form. We'll need volunteers to set-up about an hour ahead of the event, volunteers to help at tables, plus help taking down at the end.

  PARKING: Parking at Lake Poway is free for all attendees. If you are a resident of Poway, you can park for free by showing your address on a license or bill. If you are a member, you will receive a parking pass when you arrive. Please say you are with the SURF party when you arrive at the entrance.

  OUTDOOR VENUE: This year's event is part inside/part outside! It may be cold, so be prepared to dress warm. Please bring any outdoor games you want to share with everyone.

  SURF is hosting our annual fat-ass style Secret Canyon Trail Run and gathering on Saturday, February 7th, 2026.

  The Secret Canyon trail follows Pine Creek on a 16 mile point to point traverse that is almost entirely single track. It's located in the Pine Creek Wilderness and is a designated National Scenic Trail.
